Engine technology is technical course that provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to understand ,maintain, service and repair internal combustion engine.

This course equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to inspect, diagnose, service, and maintain vehicle braking systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workplace safety standards.
Learners will study the operation of major braking system components including disc and drum brakes, hydraulic systems, and Anti-lock Braking Systems (ABS). The course covers identification of common braking faults such as worn brake pads/shoes, brake fluid leakage, air in the system, and ABS sensor faults.
Practical sessions focus on performing brake inspections, brake pedal feel tests, brake fluid replacement, component replacement, system bleeding, and basic diagnostic procedures using appropriate tools and equipment.
Upon completion, learners will be able to maintain braking systems effectively to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and compliance with road safety regulations.
